TROUBLE
Trouble: That which causes concern or distress.
The Cause
1. It can be our mouth. Proverbs 21:23
2. Sometimes it's trials we go through. 2nd Corinthians 7:5
3. Sometimes it's persecution. 2nd Thessalonians 1:7
Job says, "Man that is born of a women is of few days, and full of trouble." Job 14:1
The Promise
There is trouble for the wicked (Isaiah 57:20) and the righteous (2nd Corinthians 4:8; 7:5; Proverbs 15:6)
The Teaching
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1
Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10
The Plan
And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify Me. Psalm 50:15
We have been in the ministry since 1977. Our calling to the ministry has included pastoring, evangelism and disciple work, as well as missions. We have been married over 50 years and have three children who have blessed us with six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
